2 of Falls Biggest Trends

Brooklyn Heights, New York City

Whether you’re in the US or in Australia (which is where I currently am!), there’s no doubt that the shift in seasons has begun. Before I flew out to Melbourne, I took some time to walk around my neighbourhood of Brooklyn to explore the area as the leaves started to change.

One of the biggest colours this season is mustard or marigold. I’ve been wearing a ton of it over on my Instagram (remember this skirt and this blazer?), and I hope it’s a colour that will stay around for a few seasons as I absolutely love it. When I laid my eyes on this Topshop sweater I knew it just had to be mine! Lucky if you’re not a fan of the colour, Topshop makes the same sweater in a variety of different colours.

Another huge fall trend are baker boy hats. I started wearing these even when it was still summer, and have gone through 3 different styles already (unfortunately I lost my favourite one in Amsterdam when I left it behind in a hotel room). I absolutely love these hats as I feel it really pulls an outfit together and adds a sense of sophistication, with the added benefit of keeping your head warm!
