When I was introduced to British fine jewellery brand Astley Clarke (check out their website here) and immediately fell in love, particularly with their ‘grown up friendship’ Kula bracelets. In the recent years I’ve really strayed away from big, bold costume jewellery that I used to wear, and have found myself really only wearing small, delicate pieces.

One of the sad things about growing up is that it isn’t really acceptable to wear our jagged edge half heart ‘best friend’ necklaces everyday, and finding something to share with your life long bestie that fits both of your modern, grown up taste in fashion can be quite challenging. These bracelets come in a variety of different colours, as well as various charms with different meanings, there is one to suit even the pickiest of best friends.

With an near imminent move for me on the horizon (more details to come soon!), I couldn’t think of a better way gift to give to a couple of friends I have made in my almost year and half spent in Sydney. Even if it is just a materialistic thing, I think it’s a nice way to feel connected to those you care about, even if you will be on the other side of the world.

On another note, how cute is this LOVER dress? I have recently strayed away from wearing prints but really loved the colours in this. I got mine from The Iconic, but it’s also available at David Jones.
