The bomber jacket is one of those styles that comes and goes, but thanks to the likes of Kengi and many others, the bomber jacket for the moment is back and is a must have item for the season. Like a good denim or leather jacket, the bomber is super versatile and can be worn casually with jeans like I’ve done here (or how I wore it in this post), or which a midi skirt and heels or over a dress for a more sophisticated look.
Another essential piece at the moment is a Western style buckle belt, either in black or tan leather. I borrowed this one off Cheralee but have been lusting after this single buckle belt from ASOS, as well as this double buckle one. I also found this gorgeous buckle belt on Revolve which comes in two different colours. These belts are the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.
This week in New York has been one with many mixed emotions. I think it finally hit home this week what I’ve actually done (ie. quitting my job, leaving my family behind and moving to the other side of the world)! I’m fast learning, and as I accepted, that I am a very little fish in probably one of, if not the biggest ponds in the world, and at times this week this has been quite daunting. I also know that it will take longer than 2 weeks for me to get my feet properly on the ground and for me to start feeling settled, so at the moment I’m taking everything as a good life lesson!
I’M WEARING: Missguided Bomber Jacket (also love this one & this one), Missguided Turtleneck Bodysuit, MAVI Jeans, ASOS Suede Buckle Boots (also available in tan), ASOS Belt, Christian Paul Watch, MIMCO Bag (similar here & here)
