Shake It Out

While it might be ‘cool’ in the blogger world to wear as little colour as possible and to abide by this whole black-and-white-leather-and-denim only trend, I’m doing anything but. Looking back on the homepage of my blog and through my Instagram account, it seems that I have completely rejected the monochrome/normcore trend and have adopted wearing as much colour as possible, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Not that I don’t love a beautifully put together black and white outfit, and of course denim and leather, but I just think that most of the time you can hardly tell the difference between one outfit to the next, and with the majority of girls these days sporting lobs, Birks (although I do love these) and Nike Free’s, it’s hard to tell one blogger from the next.

So I have taken it upon myself to inject some colour into what is turning into a world full of monochrome, minimalistic blogs and Instagram accounts. If you, like myself, love a bit of colour to brighten up your day, then I’m hope that you’ll enjoy my posts and Instagram. Expect to see a lot more colour in the next couple of months as the weather warms up!
