Meatpacking District

I really cannot even begin to say how excited I am to be back in New York. After the long 6 hour drive up from Virginia, we quickly unpacked and went exploring. Although this is my 4th time to New York in less than 2 years, for some reason I could never get sick of this place, and each time I come back I find myself wanting to see and do more and more in the city.

We were very lucky with the weather for the first night casually strolling through the city, however the next day it reverted back to the icy conditions I had experienced when I was here for Christmas and New Years in 2012, but luckily I had prepared myself by wearing almost every item of clothing I brought with me on this trip. The weather quickly turned to snow while we were wandering through the streets of Soho and the Meatpacking District (hence me looking like a drowned rat in these photos), so we quickly took some photos then scrambled to the nearest coffee shop for shelter and warmth. Unfortunately, the snow lasted all afternoon so we were forced to stay indoors.

Nice shots in the snow! the fur cardi looks snug. I remember visiting the U.S and New York and particular the meat packing industry, we have nothing like that in England đŸ™‚
