The hardest thing I struggled with this NYFW season was staying warm whilst still wearing a nice outfit. I saw many girls wearing mini skirts and bare legs and admired their braveness taking on the below zero temperatures like that, however I was constantly feeling the cold even with 5 layers on. Luckily these shorts from Australian label Talulah looked just as cute with black tights as they do with bare legs (I can’t wait to wear them in summer back in Australia as they have the cutest green band across the top) so I didn’t need to risk getting sick. I decided to play up the print in these shorts with mixing prints and a warm fury sweater.
These ankle boots by Vince Camuto have to be some of the comfiest pair of heeled boots I have ever worn. I must admit that I am not the best when it comes to walking around in heels for hours on end and often carry a pair of flats with me in my bag to get changed into, especially during Fashion Week’s. However after walking about 20 blocks around New York City in these boots (which also come in navy and elephant grey), my feet didn’t feel a thing. It felt like I was walking around in flats!
Fashion Week has now come to a close which I have mixed feelings about. I am happy to just sit and relax, I am currently in Chicago staying at The James hotel, but on the other hand I already miss New York even if it was under a foot of snow when I left.
