Thinking of new Mothers Day gift ideas that my mum is actually going to like leaves me stumped every year. In our family, Mothers Day has never really been a big thing, and we tend not to spend that much on presents, rather saving it for birthdays and Christmas. Finding a nice, tasteful present for under $20 is always a challenge. Lucky for me, I took my Mum to Target to see her best recommendations for reasonably priced Mothers Day presents that all Mum’s will like!
I can’t say that I’ve done this every year, but there’s nothing like spoiling your Mum on Mothers Day by bringing her breakfast in bed. My Mum recently got a waffle maker which we are all obsessed with, and I know that she’d love some pumpkin spiced waffles served up to her alongside tea in her new Target teapot in the morning!
PJ’s need a refresh at least once a year, so treat your Mum to a new set (I got mine this top and these bottoms), plus a plush robe and slippers and I promise, she’ll love you forever. These from Target are actually so soft and luxurious and I had to grab an extra pair just for me!
Sometimes simplitity is best when it comes to spoiling Mum, and something as small as a scented candle can let her know you care. My Mum is also really big into cooking, so this Nigella Lawson cook book is the the perfect gift for her!
