Heading back a few weeks ago now to an event we went to in Melbourne. Even though the dress code was listed as ‘cocktail’ I decided to go for the more dressy-end of cocktail as I always think it is better to be overdressed than underdressed and thought that this Finders Keepers ‘Nightlight’ dress was a good mix between the two. I have started going to a few events since starting this blog and find it most frustrating when people don’t follow dress codes set out on the invitation (eg. guests wearing jeans when it specifically says cocktail!) so I always make sure that I don’t do this!

I absolutely agree with being overdressed rather than underdressed, & the up/down nature of this dress means you hit the mark perfectly! Love the pop of colour added with that playful orange clutch too. xwww.bretelle.com.au
I couldn’t agree with you more, its always better to be overdressed than underdressed. Beautiful dress, I love the lines and structure. I also love how the lines of your clutch compliment your dress too! Very chic!!!xo, Jackiewww.stylemydreams.wordpress.com
I feel the same way, definitely go for over dressed than under dressed. That dress is gorgeous, and I love the neon bag you paired with it! It adds something special and modern to the look.Nicwww.younglovestyle.blogspot.com
