I actually wore this outfit a few times whilst I was in New York, not only because I was limited in my outfit choices due to airline baggage restrictions, but because it’s an outfit that I actually really love. When I arrived in NYC, the weather was predictably hot and humid which saw me wearing a lot of skirts, light top and dresses, however, towards the end of my trip the weather took a quite dramatic and relatively unexpected, autumnal turn.
Although it was a welcome relief to get a break from the humidity and heat, it was also quite frustrating as I had only packed a limited amount of jumpers and pants. Those that I did have, such as these Saba pants and this jumper from Cos were on high rotation! These RMK heels/mules (similar available here) in my opinion are some of the best transeasonal shoes a girl can own, as they look amazing with not only pants during winter, but also with skirts and dresses in the summer.
Since coming back to Australia, I’ve recently been introduced to a new platform, Piccing, and although it is relatively new, it is growing quickly and already has more than 90 million members. Piccing members can upload pictures, whether it’s a photo they took or one they found online; members can even search from 1000’s of pre-existing images already in the platform, making it a great place to find fashion and style inspiration. Items in each picture are then “picc’d,” which allows users to find similar items to what is featured and shop the image. Piccing is a great tool to find similar items at different price points for those must-have items you might be lusting after! Have a look at my Piccing profile here and check out the items I’ve picc’d in the images I’ve uploaded from this post.
