After my first long, cold NYC winter, there’s no better thing than when you start to feel the first of the suns strength. There were days during winter with clear blue skies and the sun was shining, but yet there was no warmth to it whatsoever. However over the last few weeks, the sun has regained its warmth, the birds are chirping, and trees are regrowing their leaves, and the blossoms and tulips are out in full bloom which means one thing: spring has finally arrived in New York City!
One of the best things about the increasing temperatures is the ability to sit outside. I know this sounds ridiculous to some (especially those reading this from Australia!), but New Yorkers literally go for months without being able to enjoy the outdoors, let alone sit outside to enjoy a coffee or lunch. It’s just too cold. But now, the cafes and restaurants have all removed their winter vestibules (for those who don’t know what these are click here – I had to do a google myself when I first moved!) and replaced them with outdoor tables and chairs, perfect to soak up that spring sunshine!
In celebration of the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere, I’ve partnered with my favourite watch brand Cluse to show you their new spring inspired collection, “La Vedette”. If you’ve followed me for a while you might know how much I love Cluse watches, however this collection is much daintier than before, with smaller watch faces and slimmer bands in an array of gorgeous styles – just perfect for spring!
