Spring Racing seasons has officially started, and I’ve teamed up with Wittner Shoes to show you some of their newest shoes and how you can wear them to the races.
DERBY DAY:
Derby Day is all about creating a traditional monochrome, black and white look with a modern twist. I chose to team Wittner’s monochrome clutch and Defiy heels with a black Ruby Sees All structured bustier and modern asymmetrical cut black and white skirt (also by Ruby Sees All). As the skirt and top are quite a statement by themselves, I chose to go with a smaller headpiece by Jendi.
OAKS DAY:
Pastel colours works perfectly on what is traditionally known as ladies day, with traditional shapes, cuts and colours being the prominent outfit features on Oaks Day. Sticking with the pastel theme, I chose a fairly traditional twin set by Cue, and added some pastel pink with a Danica Erard Millinery headpiece. Wittner’s ‘Justice’ nude pointed heel works perfectly with the pastel colours is the right sized heel to last all day at the races in, and along with the nude patent clutch, ties into the chic yet sophisticated look of the day.
