If you follow me on my Instagram, you’ll have seen that I have been in Miami for Swim Week. It was my first time in Miami, and let me tell you that while it was absolutely amazing, it was also completely exhausting. I thought I had experienced heat and humidity living in Australia, but Miami in July is on another level (I’ve noticed that Americans say this a lot…). When you’re tackling 35C/90F with almost 100% humidity, even going outside to take pictures of our outfits for 30 mins left us dying for water, air-con and a quite frankly a nap. Trying to look put together in this kind of weather was just not a thing.
Because of this we didn’t attend as many shows and events as we had planned, but that was completely fine with us as we did all we wanted to do. These pics were taken in between a showing and an event at the absolutely breathtaking The One Hotel, just near one of their 2 pools. You might have seen on my Snapchat, but this hotel has to be THE nicest, most luxurious I think I have ever been to, and I just hope that one day I’ll be lucky enough to be able to stay here!
