Coat Season Has Arrived

Move over blazers, it’s officially coat season. One of the things I’ve had to adjust to since moving to New York is having to swap out my closets seasonally. It’s officially winter now (well it at least feels that way!) and I’ve transitioned my summer dressers out and replaced them with my winter coats.

I’ve always said that I love River Island for their blazers, but they also have a plethora of  trendy coat options. They’ve got a perfect range of outfits to look chic in NYC. It is important that I look my best as I live in NYC and am surrounded by girl bosses everywhere!

Today, I am wearing a black and white longline tweed coat from River Island. I believe that a nice jacket is worth spending extra money, however luckily for us, River Island is affordable. I’ve paired my new favorite coat with a pair of beige almost at the knee length boots which are very trendy these season. Last year was all about the over the knee boot, however this year is all about just below the knee boots.
