My Everyday Makeup – Products I use on the Reg

Hi all! So I’ve been meaning to do this post for FOREVER, but ya know, life. But better late than never, right? Today I shared over on my IG stories a super quick video of how I do my makeup for during the day. I’ll be sharing a more in depth, longer version of this soon on my feed soon, but wanted to write this blog post just so I can link all the products that I use.

With makeup, it’s important to start with a good base so using a super hydrating serum and moisturizer is essential. For this, I’m currently using Saint Jane’s Luxury Beauty Serum (it’s infused with CBD and is SO hydrating), followed by the Sisley All Day All Year Moisturizer. I know neither of these products aren’t cheap, however my skin is SO dry so I have to make sure I invest in good products for this step. If you’re looking for something a little bit more affordable, I also love the Biossance Vitamin C Serum, and I honestly do love Olay’s moisturizers.

Next, it’s onto my makeup! I use these products 99.9% of the time and will only add more of them and build them up if I’m doing an night look. I use the same NARS tinted moisturizer ALL the time as it’s super buildable and I love that it has SPF built in. For my eyes, I alternate between doing a slight cat eye during the day using the Stila Eyeliner, or a simple pencil eyeliner. I’ve also listed my two favourite eye shadow palettes below that are my absolute go to’s.

For application of foundation, I only use a beauty blender, and sometimes use a foundation brush to blend around the neck. I have a bunch of different brushes that I use, but I absolutely love these ones off Amazon. They are synthetic, but are honestly so soft and you get a pack of 10 for $8.99 – bargain!

When it comes to lips, I’ll always do a nude lip during the day, and probably 90% of nights too! I think it’s super important even when you’re doing a nude lip to line your lips with a pencil first, then adding the nude lipstick. It really helps define your lip shape and makes them look much more full. The nude lipstick that I swear by is Charlotte Tilbury’s Miss Kensington.
