A Trip to Tulum with AERIN
Tulum, Mexico
You might have seen on my Instagram that since mid-December last year, I’ve been traveling quite a lot. Recent trips have taken me from London to Dubai, back home to Australia, to the Bahamas, and to Tulum, Mexico with AERIN.I’m sure all of you who read my blog have heard of AERIN, but a lot of people don’t realise that Aerin herself is the Granddaughter of beauty mogul Estee Lauder. I’ve used Etee Lauder products for years, so I was excited to go on this trip with another Lauder brand and find out more about their products. The trip was specifically to celebrate the launch of their new fragrance Hibiscus Palm.I flew into Cancun and met the AERIN team at Hotel Esencia, near Tulum, where we stayed for 4 nights. We actually never left the hotel grounds and to be honest, there really wasn’t any need to. They had everything wanted and more: 2 pools, a beach, 3 restaurants etc. This hotel was an absolute dream.During out time there, the team put on some of the most beautiful lunches and dinners I’ve ever attended. They also organised activities such as morning yoga, cooking classes, paddle boarding and facials, all themed around the key ingredient in their new fragrance: hibiscus.I have to be very honest with all of you: I am very picky when it comes to my fragrances. I hate anything too sweet, or too strong. I have a very sensitive nose as well, so a lot of fragrances irritate me and I end up sneezing all day long. However this fragrance luckily didn’t have that impact on me. This scent is very floral but not overly sweet, and has under tones of vanilla, ginger and coconut milk. Very tropical, and the perfect fragrance for Mexico![one_half padding=”0 10px 0 0″]
